Why Do What We Do?
​We love and appreciate all living creatures, but love bearded dragons most of all.

They each have a unique personality and are beautiful in their own right. They're hardy and typically docile which makes them great pets for people with kids (we know from experience)!
Apart from dragon snuggles and bath time, we LOVE to watch their tales curl upward while they devour their food; hence the company name. We are a small family-owned and operated company located in the Bay Area of Florida.

We are Florida licensed breeders. We believe in ethical breeding which includes ethical pairings. We've experienced firsthand the heartache that comes from the deterioration of a poorly bred dragon. We don't want others to experience this pain. We aim to breed strong, healthy bearded dragons. For this reason we do not breed visual morphs together, with the exception of hypo, and utilize het to het pairings for the majority. Quality is held high above quantity at Dragon Scales and Curly Tails!
We also love insects, so breeding them to feed our lizards is just part of our fantastic process! They enjoy discoid roaches, superworms, mealworms, and black soldier fly larva. If you're interested in breeding your own insects, check out our Farming at Home page!

Our Team
We fell in love at first sight, got married nine days later and have never looked back! We have two beautiful children, some cats, a dog and a significant amount of bearded dragons. When we follow our instincts, we can't go wrong. We fell in love with bearded dragons and we are overjoyed that we were able to turn our passion into a little business.
